BIOGRAPHY
Bruce W. Heinemann
American landscape photographer, Bruce W. Heinemann, has photographed the landscape for over twenty five years. He is the photographer of the critically-acclaimed, best-selling book, The Art of Nature: Reflections on the Grand Design. He also authored and photographed a second best-selling book, A Guide To Photographing The Art of Nature. Both were Book of the Month Club feature selections and best-sellers. He was also the photographer and author of a book on his native state entitled, Washington: A Gallery Of The Seasons. His most recent publication, The Four Seasons book and music CD has met with great acclaim. His images have appeared in Sierra Magazine, Audubon, Outdoor Photographer, Alaska Airlines, and National Geographic, among others. He was a cinematographer and co-producer of a video entitled, The Art of Nature: Reflections on the Grand Design, based on his book, and narrated by Emmy-winning actor, Tom Skerritt. It received the Gold Award at the 1996 Houston International Film Festival for best music video, and was syndicated for broadcast on over 140 Public Television Stations in the United States. He has also photographed and published fine art corporate calendars for over eighteen years. His clients represent national corporations from many sectors of business including pharmaceutical, insurance, real estate, and financial institutions, among others. His images are also included in many private and corporate collections as well. He lives with his family in the town of Anacortes, on Fidalgo Island, in the San Juan Islands of Washington State.
